Making a Beacon Block in Minecraft
Minecraft allows players to unleash creativity in the survival and creative world using different resources. In terms of resources, players can utilize beacon blocks for getting special effects for further crafting and building in a more efficient and enhanced way. Crafting
For crafting a beacon in Minecraft, you need different materials to collect including 5 glass blocks, 3 obsidian and 1 nether star.
Once done collecting all the materials, now it’s time to craft a beacon in Minecraft. Place 3 glass blocks in the first row and two glass blocks in the 1st and 2nd boxes of row 2. Place the Nether star in the middle of row 2. At last, place 3 obsidian in the 3rd row of the 3×3 crafting grid. This way, you’ll get a beacon in Minecraft. Place the beacon from the outpost to the inventory for using it.
Building a Pyramid For Beacon
To further use a beacon in Minecraft once done crafting it, you need to build a pyramid where you will place a beacon on the top to get activated. You can build a pyramid of Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite, or Emerald blocks, it’s up to you. Pyramids are of different levels, from 1 to 4, you can build 1 to 4 layers of pyramid. Each layer unlock new status effects including Speed Haste, Resistance, Jump Boost and Strength. So build a pyramid you want exactly like in the picture below.
Activation
Now for activation, place a crafted beacon on a pyramid that you have built in the previous step of dimensions either 3×3, 5×5, 7×7 or 9×9. To activate the beacon, open it and feed it with an iron ingot, emerald, gold ingot, diamond or Netherite ingot. After that pick your primary and secondary powers and hit the green check mark.
